Information collected
When visiting our web site, our web server automatically logs (records) domain name and standard information about the operating system and web browser you are using, as provided by your web browser. This information is used for statistical purposes to help us manage our site, but it does not identify you in any way.
We collect personal information about you only if you volunteer it in a survey and/or guest book and/or other "on site" registrations and/or make a donation. We may use this information to contact you for support purposes and to answer questions you submit to the site. All information is kept confidential.
If you supply us with your mailing address on-line, you may receive periodic mailings from us with information about new programs and services or upcoming events, if you give permission to be contacted.

Data Collection
The forms on our site require users to give us contact information (like their name and email address), and other personal information relating to your cancer experience. Such information may be used to provide you with personalized and matched content within the site; individual email inquiries may be forwarded to the appropriate department for response. Information that is not used to directly support the service may be used in a research capacity to evaluate the benefits of this service. At IntrigueDesign.ca we do not share or sell any information that could be linked to your identity.
Occassionally we use Google as a third party vendor. Google uses cookies to serve ads on your site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
Data Security
In the parts of the site where personal information is entered and viewed, IntrigueDesign.ca has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. To ensure that the data transferred between your Web connection and ours is not viewed by anyone but you, we are using powerful Web site encryption technology. The IntrigueDesign.ca Web server is located at an IWEB Tier-1 Hosting facility located in Quebec. IWEB allows us to offer a high-speed, high-availability internet connection backed by redundant network infrastructure and advanced, proprietary security technologies. Access to the IntrigueDesign.ca Web server is restricted to a few key IntrigueDesign.ca employees. All data entered in the IntrigueDesign.ca database is regularly backed up and the backup media is securely stored to prevent loss or damage.
