Cache Metals Incorporated

Cache Metals using Drupal

With a growing marketplace for precious metals in these turbulent times, bullion dealers are at the forefront of sales in a very competitive marketplace.

With the need for an updated design, live spot prices, and price charts, Intrigue was enlisted to help with all aspects of development to make this site awesome top to bottom. The site features live interactive feed-based metal charts, historic feed-based metal price charts, and live updating AJAX enabled spot prices.  All prices are drawn from feeds, with the feed saved locally to ensure rapid response and reduced network congestion for optimal performance.

In addition to the flashy live charts, jQuery was implemented for homepage sliders and overlay-based registration forms.  Additionally, the Web 2.0 footer is able to slide in and out, making SEO-centric content available across all pages of the site without cluttering the design.

The new design and visitor-focused attention to detail is anticipated to have a dramatic effect on visitor conversions and completed purchases.  The SEO-focused development will aide improved search engine results, and allow major search engines to index content quicker, faster, more efficiently and more often.  The site makes use of XML-based site maps to push content updates directly to search engines, as well as including a user-friendly sitemap for visitors.

Suffice to say, this site has all the important aspects covered for a product-based site that focuses on sales generated through search engines, from first search, to final purchase.
